100mg/5ml

Dosage

60-90 mg/m2 as single dose every 3 wk. May be divided over 2-3 days if desired. Palliative care 12.5-25 mg/m2 once wkly. High-dose regimen: 120 mg/m2 or more every 3 wk or 45 mg/m2 for 3 consecutive days every 3 wk. Should not exceed a total cumulative dose of 0.9-1 g/m2 due to risk of cardiotoxicity.

Metastatic carcinoma of the colon or rectum whose disease has recurred or progressed following 5-FU-based therapy.
